Howdy! I'm Holly- a wife, mother, friend, teacher, trainer, artist, active Christian church member, barrel racer and a phenomenal speaker. I'm just a cowgirl who's plum crazy for helping others by inspiring them to find strength, and courage to rise up and overcome challenges with grit, courage, faith, perseverance and a smile.
M&M's and Dr Pepper are two of my weaknesses.
Way back when I was just a youngin', I began to recognize that I had a unique ability and love for public speaking. When I was a senior year in high school, I mustered up the courage to try out for the senior student speaker role for my high school graduation. The competition was tough! The candidates were the best of the best from my graduating class. The entire high school English department selected me and it was a great honor to represent my graduating class.
I am the oldest of nine children. I have seven sisters and one brother. I have been married for over 20 years to my handsome hubby that I adore. I have seven youngin's of my own, 5 boys and 2 girls. My family is my whole world, and my very reason for living.
I absolutely love to chew the fat and tell stories! If you ask any of my kids, they will tell you I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but I can tell a good story! And I tell you what, it is such a joy to help and inspire others through speaking, whether that is speaking loving words of advise to my family or inspiring thousands at an event.
I am also an animal lover. Horses are my favorite. My animal family includes 4 horses, 5 dogs,
4 cats and 2 chickens. My children are trying desperately to talk me into getting a goat and a sheep. But it hasn't happened...yet!

In August 2011, I was 29 weeks pregnant with my seventh whipper snapper, when my water broke. I was hospitalized for four weeks before having him at 32 weeks. He then spent the next five weeks in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
In August 2013, I was horseback riding with a family member, when this family member unknowingly got himself and the horse he was riding, down into a canal. I jumped off my horse and jumped into the canal to help him. As I attempted to get the horse out of the canal and my family member to safety, the horse accidentally slipped and fell on me, twice, crushing my entire chest. All of my ribs were broke and several were broke in multiple locations, both clavicles were broke and both of my lungs were punctured. I was life flighted to the University of Utah, where I was on life support for 13 days. After coming off life support, I was transferred to the physical rehabilitation section of the hospital where I was told I would spend the next 2-3 months recovering before I could come home. That wasn't good enough for me. After 3 weeks of hard work, determination, perseverance, positive thinking and prayer, I was released to come home.
In August 2016, three years after my accident with the horse, I received a terrifying phone call from my oldest son, telling me that our home was literally burning down. After the fire raged through our home that day, my family and I had nothing except the clothes on our backs. All I have to say is, “August is officially out of the running for my favorite month of the year!”

A couple months after the fire, I was hospitalized after becoming critically ill. I had surgery, and later it was confirmed that I had a bone infection and I was told there is no cure. I spent the next few months on bed rest and doing hyperbaric oxygen treatments. After all this and many other intense trials and challenges in my life, I have gained a stronger testimony and closer relationship with the Savior. It's my desire to share my experiences and what I have learned with others. My stories are real, told exactly how they happened and my journey has been an incredible one. Let me share with you how I learned that despite the challenges, trials and hardships in life that,
"There are happy trails! Take this ride we call life, one breath at a time, one day at a time and keep trekking.”
